Company ProfileWard Jackson Associates is a specialist civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering practice set up in 1991, initially as a partnership and more recently as a limited company. It draws on over 38 years experience in Civil Engineering of Managing Director, Nick Jackson BSc, MICE, CEng, with the cooperation of a flexible network of other independent highly qualified professionals in the fields of Geology, Hydrogeology, Land Surveying, Applied Biology and Structural Engineering. Nick Jackson, has worked extensively in land reclamation and remediation, landslides and other ground instabilities and the appraisal of problem sites. Prior to that he worked with major international consulting engineers, specialising in docks and harbours and reservoir design and safety. His long experience in his specialist fields has enabled him to provide expert witness support in cases of litigation, often forming a team with specialists from other professions or from the universities to cover the required scope of the investigation. He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, a Chartered Engineer and is on the approved list of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses. Over the past 16 years, Ward Jackson Associates has successfully completed substantial commissions for over 25 major clients, (see "Projects" page) including County Borough Councils and County Councils, national Development Agencies, PLCs and Limited Companies, Solicitors and other Consulting Engineers.
